DSU Elections: it could be you!
Do you yearn for a thankless job with poor pay that will age you prematurely? Look no further – nominations for DSU positions are open now. Word probably hasn’t made it to the proles yet, and likely won’t, but The Party faithful are all atwitter.
Some of you will recall my bitchfest of the general mediocrity of the candidates and their campaigns last year, in particular the epic failure to engage students electronically. I don’t have much to say other than “I hope for better”.
If you know something about the upcoming election, feel free to let me know through the tip line. In particular, I’m looking for suggested nicknames – “Apathy 2007″ worked for me, but “Apathy 2008″ just shows a lack of creativity normally found only in election campaigns.
